It’s time for Basketball: Spurs vs Raptors

The Spurs surpassed expectations in their recent games against the Suns, winning both matchups. The first game was a thrilling comeback, featuring Keldon Johnson’s incredible steal and snaking layup just seconds before the final buzzer. In the second game, Wembanyama dominated on both ends of the court, thwarting Devin Booker’s attempts at a Phoenix comeback. Unfortunately, the Spurs experienced a setback with Devin Vassell’s groin tightness, which might keep him out of the lineup for a while to prevent any lingering issues.

Without Devin, the Spurs will need someone to step up. Malaki Branham is expected to fill Vassell’s spot in the starting lineup. However, if he continues to struggle with his shooting, Cedi Osman may see more playing time, and Tre Jones could enter the game earlier. Zach Collins has been working his way out of a shooting slump and could have a standout performance today. Keldon Johnson will have to increase his offensive output, and the team will heavily rely on Victor Wembanyama, who has quickly established himself as a dominant player in just six games. If the rest of the team can find a way to get the ball to Victor, things should work out fine.

Despite the early afternoon start, the Spurs may benefit from the extra hour gained from the end of Daylight Savings Time. In past seasons, they tended to struggle in the first quarters of early games. Let’s tune in and see how they perform.

Game Prediction:

Darko Rajakovic (Raptors coach) and Gregg Popovich will have a lengthy conversation in Serbian during one of the timeouts. The content of their discussion will remain a mystery to everyone else.

One final word:

Go Spurs GOOOOOO!!
