dominated the boards, grabbing 15 rebounds for the Knicks. Julius Randle, who recorded a double-double with 12 rebounds and 10 points, struggled with his shooting, missing 11 of his 15 attempts, including all five from beyond the arc. Hart also contributed with 10 rebounds.

The Knicks struggled from deep, shooting just 2 for 17 from beyond the arc in the first half. The long rebounds enabled the Pelicans to build a commanding 19-point lead.

New Orleans capitalized on their transition game in the first half, scoring 19 of their 25 fast-break points and 30 of their 52 points in the paint.

The Pelicans connected on seven 3-pointers in the first half, with rookie
contributing three. Hawkins, the 14th overall draft pick from the University of Connecticut, played a significant role in New Orleans’ 55-37 halftime lead.
