BKFC President David Feldman expressed his desire to see Conor McGregor compete in bareknuckle boxing under his promotion. McGregor was present at BKFC 41, where Mike Perry achieved a second-round TKO victory against former UFC middleweight champ Luke Rockhold. McGregor entered the ring with a BKFC championship belt on his shoulder, engaging in a face-off with Perry.
Feldman mentioned that McGregor has an interest in bareknuckle boxing and stated that having McGregor join former UFC stars such as Perry, Rockhold, Paige VanZant, Chad Mendes, and Eddie Alvarez in the BKFC ring would be a dream scenario for him. Feldman described bareknuckle fighting as an Irish sport and expressed how McGregor, being an Irish fighter, fits the style with his boxing skills and elongated stance.
Despite being contracted with the UFC, Feldman is hopeful that McGregor might compete in BKFC someday, especially after observing the interaction between him and Perry at BKFC 41.
Looking ahead, Feldman sees a potential mega-fight between Perry and McGregor and has already arranged the main event matchup between Perry and Alvarez at BKFC 56 on December 2 in Salt Lake City.
