As the Texas Rangers approach their World Series victory at Chase Field, the possibility of a pool party arises.
However, the Diamondbacks can only prevent it from happening on the field.
In 2013, the Dodgers caused a commotion by jumping into the pool after winning the NL West at Chase Field.
Nevertheless, DBacks CEO Derrick Hall stated during this year’s NLDS against the Dodgers that there would be no protocol to stop such celebrations. This applies to the Rangers as well.
“They have the freedom to celebrate however and wherever they please,” Hall said. “They have definitely earned that opportunity.”

The DBacks have found motivation in keeping opposing teams out of the pool during this series. Former player David Peralta described playing at Chase Field with the Dodgers as being surrounded by “all blue.” Phillies backup catcher Garrett Stubbs commented that if the Phillies were two wins away from clinching the NLCS, they would be heading straight for the water.
The Rangers, on the other hand, have taken a different approach and have chosen to keep their celebration plans undisclosed.
