‘If Tennis Didn’t Work Out I Would Model’: Fritz Opens Up About Love For Fashion

Taylor Fritz is not only an exceptional tennis player, but he also has a hidden talent in the world of modeling. In fact, if his tennis career hadn’t worked out, he would have pursued a career in modeling.

This year, Fritz had the opportunity to make his debut on the runway, and surprisingly, he thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Despite anticipating some teasing from others, Fritz found the modeling world to be a pleasant and fulfilling experience. It’s interesting to note that modeling had actually crossed his mind at one point in his life.

During his teenage years, Fritz was completely devoted to tennis. However, his passion for fashion grew exponentially over time, and he ultimately became more inclined towards pursuing a modeling career if his tennis aspirations hadn’t come to fruition.

Fortunately, being a successful tennis player has opened up various opportunities for Fritz. With ambitions to build his own brand in the future, he sees fashion as a fundamental element in achieving this goal. In his own words,

“Over the past few years, I have developed a strong interest in fashion. It’s something I definitely want to explore further in order to establish my brand. I remember joking with a friend when we were 15 or 16 that if tennis didn’t work out, I would pursue modeling. Tennis has provided me with numerous possibilities, and I’m grateful for that.”

Given his impressive height and striking features, it’s not surprising that Fritz has received offers and opportunities within the modeling industry. In recent times, it has become a common trend for non-models, especially celebrities, to participate as part-time models for major fashion brands.

Interestingly, Fritz’s passion for fashion even surpassed his interest in tennis itself. He didn’t watch tennis extensively, but he naturally excelled in the sport and made the decision to pursue it as a career.

“To be honest, I wasn’t particularly invested in any specific sport. I didn’t watch much tennis while growing up, but it happened to be the sport I excelled in the most.”

It’s safe to say that this career path has proven to be a wise choice for Fritz, considering how things have unfolded since then.
