‘I don’t do business that way’

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia – Vince McMahon and Dana White may not see eye to eye on their history together.

Last month, the UFC and WWE officially merged to form TKO, a publicly traded company. However, White has repeatedly stated that there will be no crossover between the two brands.

In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, White admitted that things haven’t always been smooth between him and McMahon.

“My history with Vince isn’t a good one,” White said. “He tried to mess with me so many times for no reason at all except to mess with me. But that’s all in the past. Now that Vince and I are allies, no one has been a better partner than Vince.”

When asked to respond to White’s comments, McMahon denied any negative relationship.

“I don’t do business that way,” McMahon told MMA Junkie. “Dana and I get along very well. We’re good partners and good businessmen. When you’re a good businessman, you get along.”

McMahon brushed off a question about giving White cheap seats for WrestleMania and exchanged banter with former WWE superstar “The Undertaker,” who found McMahon’s relationship with White to be amusing.

“He’s a tough guy…but I’m a better businessman,” McMahon concluded.
