The Bulldogs have maintained their winning streak, demonstrating their worthiness of their high rank and back-to-back national championship titles. They head into Saturday’s game with a 36-game regular-season winning streak and an overall winning streak of 26 games dating back to 2021. While they’ve had some close calls, the Bulldogs have managed to secure victories, albeit often by slim margins.
Ole Miss’s only loss so far this season came against Alabama in Week 4. Despite this setback, the Rebels have proven themselves as legitimate contenders for a conference championship, winning numerous games by narrow margins, including a recent three-point victory over Texas A&M.
With just two games left in their conference schedule, a win for Georgia will secure them another East Division title. For Ole Miss to surpass Alabama in the standings, they must pull off an upset on Saturday, defeat rival Mississippi State in two weeks, and hope for Alabama to lose to both Kentucky and Auburn.
Georgia has historically dominated their matchups against Ole Miss, with this being their first meeting since the Rebels defeated the Bulldogs in 2016.
