Swiatek, with a success at the WTA Finals, regained her No.1 ranking, finishing the season in splendid form. At just 22, she is a four-time major champion.

Sabalenka, aged 25, claimed her first Grand Slam singles title at the Australian Open. In comparison, Gauff, just 19 years old, emerged as an exceptional talent when she won the US Open. Together, they clinched three out of the year’s four majors, along with 13 titles and over $24 million in earnings.

Despite their remarkable achievements, a tennis legend Martina Navratilova recognizes that there is ample room for improvement in all three players.

A late bloomer herself, Navratilova had won her first major at the age of 21. Observing the three top players, she provides a few insights for their improvement.

Swiatek stood out with her rebirth in 2022 as she secured six consecutive titles, returning with a remarkable three Roland Garros title wins and the year-end championships. However, Navratilova suggests that she can improve her net game and refine her serving to further dominate the game.

Sabalenka showcased her talent early in 2023 with victories in several tournaments. Yet, Navratilova believes that she can elevate her game by enhancing her movement and composure under pressure, allowing her to reach her full potential.

Coco Gauff

Gauff’s exceptional rise from appearing in Wimbledon to winning multiple titles showcased her remarkable potential. However, Navratilova stresses that refining her forehand technique will aid Gauff in handling challenging shots more effectively.
