Brandin Podziemski: A Rising NBA Star
Brandin Podziemski’s talent and determination are catching the attention of his teammates on the Golden State Warriors. Steph Curry, the team’s superstar, praised Podziemski, describing him as a confident player who understands how to make an impact in the league. And Podziemski’s performance during training camp and preseason games has certainly lived up to the hype.
With an average of 7.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 6.0 assists in just under 28 minutes per game, Podziemski has proven his versatility on the court. Despite being the 19th overall pick, he has consistently shown his potential. In the Warriors’ preseason opener against the Los Angeles Lakers, Podziemski scored 11 points and followed it up with a double-double in a rematch six days later. Even when his scoring was limited in a game against the Sacramento Kings, Podziemski still made an impact with his rebounding and playmaking abilities.
What sets Podziemski apart is his studious approach. He actively seeks knowledge by studying the team’s preparation process, asking questions, and absorbing as much information as possible. It’s this dedication that has impressed Curry, as well as his whole-hearted commitment to fearlessly compete and learn.
Podziemski’s progress has not gone unnoticed by the coaching staff either. Gary Payton II, known for his defensive prowess, has been mentoring the rookie in that aspect of the game. Coach Steve Kerr has been particularly impressed with Podziemski’s ability to anticipate and create deflections, highlighting his instincts and feel for the game.
