Here’s a compilation of recent extraordinary golf accomplishments from Central New York players:
Scott Carson amazed everyone on Oct. 25 by scoring a hole-in-one on the 138-yard No. 6 hole at West Hill using a 7-iron. The incredible feat was witnessed by Mike Forell, Roger Forell, and James Chilinski.
Mike Ostrouch also joined the club on Oct. 25, achieving a hole-in-one on the 155-yard No. 16 hole at Pine Grove using a 5-wood. Dave Bottorff, Ken Carlson, and Bob Brenner were there to witness this remarkable event.
Mark Cook showcased his skills on Oct. 24, conquering the 149-yard No. 13 hole at Timber Banks with an 8-iron. Dan Robinson, Terry Rose, and Robert Ucchino were privileged to witness this impressive display of talent.
Will Watson achieved a hole-in-one on the 120-yard No. 15 hole at Hickory Hill on Oct. 24 with a 9-wood. Nick Isgro and Bill MaAnelly shared the excitement as witnesses.
Tony DeArmas delivered a remarkable shot on Oct. 21, scoring a hole-in-one on the 119-yard No.16 hole at Westvale Golf Club using a pitching wedge. The exceptional feat was witnessed by Tony Miller, Dan Shanahan, Mike Murray, and Ryan Christopher.
Stephen Port accomplished a hole-in-one on the 143-yard No. 16 hole at Millstone on Oct. 19 with an 8-iron. Witnessed by Chris Burns, it was a moment of pure astonishment.
Matt Palumb struck gold on Sept. 30, acing the 155-yard No. 4 hole at Hill N Dale with a flawless 7-iron shot. The achievement was witnessed by John Kelly, EJ MacCaull, and Jim Price.
Shoot Your Age
Bill Hurd, at the impressive age of 83, demonstrated his mastery of the game by shooting a remarkable 79 at Westvale Golf Club on Oct. 24. The extraordinary performance was witnessed by Nick Pirro and Matt Ludice.
