Miles Bridges could face additional legal trouble while serving his NBA suspension for domestic violence.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Bridges, a former Michigan State star and current member of the Charlotte Hornets, according to a report by WSOC-TV in Charlotte.

The warrant and subsequent criminal summons are related to Bridges allegedly violating a domestic violence protective order. As of Wednesday night, Bridges has not been arrested.

Last season, Bridges sat out after pleading no contest to domestic violence charges in California, where he was accused of assaulting the mother of his children. The agreement included a protective order requiring Bridges to stay 100 yards away from the woman.

Despite his suspension, Bridges was re-signed by the Hornets during the offseason. He will be serving a 10-game suspension to start the 2023-24 NBA season, with credit for 20 games already served.
