When asked if the Bucks had convinced him that they were the team to beat in the East, Perkins confidently answered in the affirmative.

“They didn’t have to show me a damn thing, Molly. I already picked them to be the team in the East. In fact, I’ve got them winning the NBA Championship,” Perkins stated.

Jrue Holiday, Derrick White, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, and Kristaps Porzingis are five players who have the ability to score 25 points on any given night. Although the Bucks, led by Giannis and Lillard, pose a significant challenge, the Celtics have more depth and should be recognized as the team to beat in the East and the entire NBA.
