The University of North Carolina (UNC) basketball program is excited to welcome a highly sought-after recruit in the 2025 class.
According to a report by Inside Carolina’s Sherrell McMillan, the Tar Heels will be hosting Koa Peat, a five-star forward, on November 11th. During his visit, Peat will have the opportunity to attend the Tar Heels’ important football game against Duke and the basketball program’s matchup against Lehigh the next day.
Koa Peat, standing at 6-foot-8 and weighing 235 pounds, has received a remarkable 30 offers from various top-tier programs including Michigan, Texas, Alabama, Arizona, Arizona State, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, and Tennessee.
So far, Peat has already visited Michigan on September 1st and Texas on September 29th. He has planned additional visits later this year.
Ranked as the number 4 prospect in the nation, the number 2 power forward, and the top player in Arizona by 247Sports recruiting rankings, Peat has attracted significant attention from the Tar Heels.
The Tar Heels have demonstrated their commitment to Peat by regularly communicating with him and attending his games over the past few months.
