Exciting Second Half Kick off: Köln vs Bayern Munich Match

45’ — The second half is underway!

Halftime: Bayern Munich lead 1-0.

19’ — GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Harry Kane makes it 1-0!

Kickoff: We’re underway!

One hour until kickoff: We have lineups! It’s a bit of a surprise as Bayern Munich lines up without Thomas Müller and Alphonso Davies, instead preferring Choupo-Moting in the XI. Konrad Laimer is presumably at right-back with Noussair Mazraoui moving to left-back. Leroy Sané and Harry Kane, of course, do start, as do Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka.

With another international break finally over, Bayern Munich return to action somewhat uncomfortably soon with a Friday night game versus the relegation-threatened FC Köln.

Thomas Tuchel has a squad that is probably still feeling the effects of international duty, yet he needs all three points if he wants to keep up with this juggernaut of a Bayer Leverkusen side. Jamal Musiala and Matthijs de Ligt aside, the Bavarians have no serious injuries headed into the game, and are boosted by the return of Joshua Kimmich from suspension. However, this is offset by the fatigue mounting on players such as Alphonso Davies, Kim Min-jae, and Noussair Mazraoui, all of whom play key roles for their respective national teams.

It’ll be up to the coach and the players to make this game a success. As fans, we simply look forward to the show.

It’s Bayern time.
