After completing surgery, UFC lightweight fighter Dan Hooker is already looking ahead to his return to action.
Hooker, who was set to compete at UFC on ESPN 52, was forced to withdraw due to injury. He suffered a broken arm in training just 11 days ahead of the event.
Following his surgery on Monday, Hooker posted a message on Instagram, expressing his optimism about his recovery and his eagerness to get back to fighting.
This latest injury is to the same arm that Hooker previously broke during a fight in July. According to Hooker, his doctor informed him that the arm did not heal properly, leading to the re-injury. His surgery included injecting bone marrow into the bone to facilitate proper healing this time. There is currently no set timeline for Hooker’s return to the octagon.
