The lineup for the much-anticipated 2023 ATP Finals has been officially confirmed. This season-ending spectacle is set to take place in Turin from Sunday, November 12 to Sunday, November 19, 2023.
Holger Rune and Alexander Zverev clinched the final spots at the ATP Finals, completing the esteemed group of players. They will join the likes of Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz, Daniil Medvedev, Jannik Sinner, Andrey Rublev, and Stefanos Tsitsipas in the prestigious tournament.
It’s worth mentioning that Alcaraz and Rune have become the first players aged 20 or under to compete together in the ATP Finals since Hewitt and Safin achieved the feat back in 2000.
Djokovic has his sights set on becoming a seven-time champion, aiming to surpass Roger Federer’s record and become the most successful player in ATP Finals history.
Other former champions in the lineup include Alexander Zverev, a two-time winner, Stefanos Tsitsipas, who triumphed in 2019, and Daniil Medvedev, the 2020 champion.
Sharing his thoughts on the occasion, ATP Chairman Andrea Gaudenzi said, “Congratulations to all the players who have qualified for the 2023 Nitto ATP Finals. It’s a testament to their remarkable season. This tournament is one-of-a-kind, featuring only the crème de la crème, with so much at stake for the players. The stage is now set for an incredible final showdown in Turin.”
