Eichel Sandbags With Spittin’ Chiclets Crew

Yesterday, Spittin’ Chiclets released exclusive footage from their 19th Sandbagger Invitational held at Granite Links golf course in Quincy, MA. This summer golf round featured NHL players Jack Eichel from the Vegas Golden Knights and Noah Hanifin from the Calgary Flames.

While the tournament was recorded several months ago, fans now have a sneak peek into a day on the course with these two current NHL stars and Spittin’ Chiclets personalities Paul Bissonette, Ryan Whitney, and Rear Admiral. The footage is highly entertaining, but be warned, there is some explicit language throughout the round.

Right from the start, Eichel and Hanifin struggled to keep up with the Chiclets duo. The Chiclets pair took a two-hole lead when Eichel missed a crucial five-foot putt. Pink Whitney shots were also passed around to all four golfers to lighten the mood.

Eichel humorously remarked, “The greens are faster than I thought. We’re at a public track. I didn’t know we were playing Augusta.”

The tournament began to tighten on the fourth hole with a remarkable tee shot by the Golden Knights’ alternate captain. The Chiclets’ crew initially wrote off Eichel’s chances of winning the hole, but quickly acknowledged his Stanley Cup championship title. Unfortunately, Eichel fell short on the green.

However, Eichel redeemed himself on the eighth hole with a fantastic drive. Surprisingly, he admitted that he doesn’t play much golf in Vegas during the year, as he believes it affects his hands. Whitney and Bissonette were surprised by this revelation and learned that some of Eichel’s teammates, like Stephenson, are exceptional golfers.

As the tournament progressed, Eichel’s competitive frustration started to show as he fell four holes behind. The Chiclets crew playfully pointed out that Eichel “is not ready for the bright lights” and even joked when he threw the ball into the quarry.

During the round, Rear Admiral asked Eichel about his team’s run to the Stanley Cup Finals and the toughest challenges they faced. Eichel modestly credited every team they faced on their journey, including Edmonton. Ultimately, Eichel and his teammates triumphed with a 5-2 victory.

At one point, both Eichel and Hanifan, who are natives of Massachusetts, expressed their fondness for the city of Boston. Eichel mentioned watching the Patriots game while waiting to be traded a few years ago.

As the back nine unfolded, the competition intensified and so did the Pink Whitney shots and colorful language from the players. Golden Knights fans will definitely enjoy the finish, but we won’t spoil it here.

Overall, this exclusive footage provides fans with an entertaining look at Eichel’s playful side, his camaraderie with fellow NHL players, and his Massachusetts accent. It’s certainly a must-watch for any hockey fan.
