Eagles’ Jalen Hurts, Jason Kelce squabbled at line of scrimmage: Was it on purpose?

Eagles QB, Jalen Hurts approached the line of scrimmage, and center Jason Kelce seemed to shake his head in disagreement with an audible called on the team’s second drive. Following this, Hurts took his cue from Kelce and gained a first down. Troy Aikman speculated that Kelce may have been trying to confuse Kansas City’s defense, but it’s possible he had a different read on the situation than the young quarterback.

Kelce, a 13-year pro, is renowned as one of the best centers in NFL history and may have a different perspective due to his extensive experience. Unfortunately, Hurts threw an interception to Reid on Philadelphia’s next possession. The Eagles’ offense has gotten off to a slow start, but during Philadelphia’s 75-yard scoring drive, Kelce’s athleticism and football IQ were evident.
