“The fans are going to be loud,” Prescott stated on Thursday. “We need to ensure that our communication is flawless. But once we have that, it’s always exhilarating to come away with a victory there.”

Prescott has a strong record of 8-3 against the Eagles, dating back to his first start against them. Since 2019, he has not lost to them. However, Prescott has only faced the Eagles once in Philadelphia since then, missing the 2020 and 2022 matches at Lincoln Financial Field due to injury. His one game against them since then was in Week 18 of 2021 when the Eagles rested several starters since their playoff fate was already determined.

Nevertheless, Prescott hasn’t forgotten how Eagles fans can impact a game and how ruthless they can be towards opponents. He even mentioned that the home team isn’t spared from their wrath when things aren’t going well for the Eagles.

“Philly fans are no joke,” emphasized Prescott, according to ESPN.com. “They truly love their team. They can be relentless towards the other guys, and if their team is not performing well, they certainly let them know.”

“To be honest with you, it’s definitely not anything PG-13. Whether it’s the language, the signs fans display when you’re driving into the stadium, or even their provocative behavior.”

This game is arguably the most significant matchup between these bitter rivals in recent years. The Eagles currently hold the top spot in the NFC East with the best record in the NFL at 7-1. The Cowboys are right behind them at 5-2, having won their previous two games following a loss to the 49ers on Sunday Night Football on Oct. 8.

Furthermore, this will be the first head-to-head meeting between Prescott and Jalen Hurts in Philadelphia. Their only previous encounter took place in Dallas in 2021.
