BAY CITY, MI – Golf enthusiasts in Michigan no longer have to wait for winter to end to swing their clubs. Bay City now offers indoor golfing options for golfers of all skill levels.
Tom and Marie Barba are the proud owners of BC Golf Simulation, a recently opened facility located at 110 E. Salzburg Road. The facility features two Trackman golf simulators and a professional putting green, catering to the local community.
Previously home to Float Paddle Center, the building has undergone a complete transformation to create the ultimate golfing experience.
Barba explains, “Instead of being limited to playing at the same five or six courses in the area, BC Golf Simulation offers access to over 250 golf courses worldwide. The video accuracy is truly remarkable.”
While appointments are recommended, walk-ins are welcome. If there’s availability, you can start playing immediately. Customers are encouraged to call ahead or book a tee time here.
According to their website, customers are advised to bring their own clubs as only a few are available on-site. Additionally, a clean pair of golf shoes is recommended. Soft spikes are allowed, but metal spikes are not. More information about what to expect can be found here.
Playing 18 holes individually takes approximately one hour, while a group of four can expect to complete 18 holes in about three and a half hours, as explained by Tom Barba.
Tom Barba describes the facility as “a great place to have fun during the winter when you’re looking for something to do.”
In addition to golf simulators, BC Golf Simulation offers a rental space at the back for parties and events.
Marie Barba praises the facility, stating, “It’s special because it’s Tom’s passion and it brings something unique to the city. There’s nothing quite like it, especially with the Trackman technology. It’s a wonderful addition to the community.”
BC Golf Simulation is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., excluding holidays. For more information, visit their website here or their Facebook page here.
