Draymond Green out for Warriors-Nuggets; Gary Payton II questionable originally appeared on NBC Sports Bay Area
The Golden State Warriors may be without two important defenders as they conclude a tough road trip.
Draymond Green has been ruled out for Golden State’s game against the Denver Nuggets due to personal reasons. Additionally, Gary Payton II also could miss the game due to an illness.
The absence of these key players is expected to make the Warriors’ road trip finale all the more challenging, as they play their third game in four days and their fourth consecutive road game. Green’s absence adds difficulty to what was already a tough road stretch and could affect the team’s winning record.
The Nuggets, who currently top the Western Conference, have lost just one game this season, while the Warriors follow closely behind in third place with two losses so far.
Despite the potential absence of Green and Payton II, the Warriors will need to rely on their “Strength in Numbers” as they face the defending champions.
