It’s incredibly easy to navigate, loads quickly, and has endless rabbit holes of trades, records, and oddities that keep me entertained for hours. Recently, they started adding nicknames to their player pages, and it’s safe to say that they’re not holding back. It seems like they’ve compiled nicknames for every player from all corners of the internet, even though we’re currently in an era where hockey nicknames are not very imaginative. But according to Hockey Reference, every star player is known by several nicknames, most of which are unfamiliar.
