Devils allow three third-period goals in 6-3 loss to Avalanche

While the Devils were strong on the power play, drawing even in the second period, Colton’s penalties provided an unexpected twist in the game dynamics.

After an action-packed game filled with ups and downs, the Avalanche emerged victorious. New Jersey opened the scoring in the first period with a goal from Tyler Toffoli, but Colorado quickly evened the score thanks to Rantanen. From there, the game remained intense and unpredictable, culminating in an Avalanche win.

As the dust settles from this intense showdown, New Jersey is set to host the Washington Capitals on Friday night, while Colorado will continue their homestand against the Seattle Kraken on Thursday night.
