This annual honor recognizes outstanding female NCAA athletes who have not only excelled in their respective sports but have also demonstrated exceptional academic and community engagement.
Considering these criteria, it is undeniable that Aliyah Boston is a natural contender for the award.
Furthermore, in addition to her on-court achievements, Boston was named the 2022 Collegiate Sport Communicators Academic All-American of the Year, and she received the Women’s Basketball Academic All-American of the Year award twice.
Boston has also actively contributed to the Columbia community, engaging with children and middle school students through basketball camps. Additionally, she has dedicated her time to charitable work in her home country, the Virgin Islands.
