WVSports.com continues with our popular feature: The 3-2-1. We’ll breakdown three things we learned that week, ask two questions, and make one prediction. Here is our latest installment:

West Virginia Football

1. Bye week comes at the perfect time

After a strong start to the season, the Mountaineers have had three physical football games in a row and have come out with a three-game win streak. However, these games have taken a toll on the team and resulted in a string of injuries. The bye week allows the team to regroup and get healthy for the rest of the season.

Basketball Update

2. What’s happening on the court?

We still have questions about the West Virginia basketball program. It remains to be seen how the team will perform this season. There are high expectations, but until we see them play, we can’t fully assess their potential.

Recruiting News

3. Who’s coming to Morgantown?

The recruiting scene is always active, and we’re keeping an eye on the latest developments. It’s important for West Virginia to continue to attract top talent to the program in order to compete at a high level.
