Warriors’ seasoned point guard, Chris Paul, is adapting to a new team in a new city. However, there’s one player he’s already familiar with.

Paul spent two seasons alongside former first-round pick Dario Šarić in Phoenix with the Suns before the duo reunited with the Warriors this season. In their first game together in Golden State, their chemistry on the court was evident.

“It’s a great feeling,” shared Paul during a post-game interview. “We really missed having Dario on our team, even last year in Phoenix. So, being able to reconnect with a player like him is incredible. One thing about our team is that sometimes we have players who are overly unselfish.”

“When you play with someone like Dario, his priority is always making the right play, no matter what. It’s enjoyable to play alongside players like him,” added Paul.

Paul and Šarić were heavily involved in pick-and-roll plays during the Warriors’ 108-104 loss to the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night.

While the future Hall of Fame point guard will have ample time to familiarize himself with the rest of his teammates, his existing connection with Šarić will prove beneficial for the Warriors throughout the season.
