Couple’s creative Halloween costume inspired by Randy Johnson goes viral

Halloween is almost here, and numerous individuals across the United States have already embraced the holiday spirit by dressing up in costumes. Among sports fans, there’s one particular costume that has captured everyone’s attention as the best of the year.

On Saturday night, Twitter user “alex” (@nothanksalex) posted a photo on the social media platform, featuring herself and her partner, Seattle-based comic Reece Green, dressed in a baseball-themed couples costume. The image quickly went viral.

The photo showcases Green dressed as former Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Randy Johnson, while Alex portrays a bloodied bird. This couples costume references the infamous incident from 2001 when the left-hander struck a bird mid-flight with a pitch during a spring training game against the San Francisco Giants.
