Confirmed Liverpool lineup vs. Toulouse: 9 changes as Diaz AND Doak start – Liverpool FC

Jurgen Klopp has made significant changes to the Liverpool lineup for their Europa League clash against Toulouse, with the return of Luis Diaz.

Liverpool is set to face Ligue 1 opposition in the Europa League, with a chance to progress to the last 16 if results in Group E go in their favor.

Following a disappointing 1-1 draw with Luton on Sunday, Klopp’s squad has been affected by injuries and illnesses, resulting in 23 players traveling to Toulouse.

Caoimhin Kelleher has been brought in to replace Alisson in goal, and Joe Gomez takes over from Trent Alexander-Arnold at right-back. Additionally, Joel Matip partners with Jarell Quansah at center-back, while Kostas Tsimikas returns at left-back.

A positive turn of events sees Kaide Gordon returning to the matchday squad after a 17-month injury ordeal, although he is not expected to play a significant role after only recently making his first competitive start in 21 months on Tuesday.
