A robbery occurred in the Buffaloes’ locker room during their 28-16 loss against UCLA at the Rose Bowl stadium, but there is some good news for the Colorado football players. The Pasadena police in California have confirmed that several stolen items have been returned to the theft victims. As they continue to investigate the alleged robbery, the police have also identified additional items of interest and are actively pursuing them.
In a statement, the Pasadena police revealed that the suspects in the case are juveniles. They have executed search warrants and assured the public that more information will be provided as the investigation progresses.
Head coach Deion Sanders of the Colorado football team had previously called for reimbursing his players for their stolen belongings. He also urged the NCAA to take action in this matter. The stolen items reported by players and staff included jewelry and cash.
Now that the Buffs (4-4) have returned to Boulder, they are preparing to host the No. 19 Oregon State (6-2) in a highly anticipated homecoming game. The game will be televised on ESPN at 10 p.m. ET on Saturday.
In a statement, the Pasadena Police Department expressed gratitude to those who reported leads to their tip line, emphasizing how important and valuable this information is for ensuring safety and security in the community. The police worked diligently to follow up on all leads, which resulted in the prompt execution of search warrants.
