College Football: Top 25 – Week 10

College football never fails to disappoint. Each week, there are games that captivate with their suspense and drama, and Week 9 was no exception. Kansas achieved a stunning victory against Oklahoma, a feat that hadn’t been accomplished in the lifetimes of many players. The Jayhawks have undergone a remarkable transformation in just a couple of seasons, evolving from one of the worst Power 5 teams to a consistent bowl game qualifier. It’s an incredible rebuild.

The Cal Bears delivered a strong performance, putting up 49 points against USC and narrowly missing a 2-point conversion that could have resulted in USC’s third consecutive loss. Georgia Tech’s offense dominated with an impressive 635 yards in their win over the North Carolina Tar Heels and their star player, Drake Maye. Freshman QB Noah Fifita has been a key player for Arizona, starting in the last four games against ranked teams and transforming a rebuilding season into a potential bowl bid.

Tulane and James Madison both held on for victories against Rice and Old Dominion respectively. The upcoming Week 10 promises to be exciting, with several Top 25 clashes including LSU vs Alabama, Washington vs USC, Missouri vs Georgia, and Kansas State vs Texas. The Big 12 will have a massive weekend, featuring games between Kansas State and Texas, Kansas and Iowa State, and the potentially final Bedlam match between Oklahoma State and Oklahoma.

Froton: No changes in the Top 5 despite Washington’s close win over Stanford, a team in the midst of rebuilding. The Huskies have shown vulnerabilities in their past four games against Arizona, Oregon, ASU, and Stanford, and they have a tough remaining schedule against USC, Utah, Oregon State, and Wazzu.
