Circle K is generously supporting two important events organized by the Jacksonville Area Golf Association (JAGA).
The convenience store chain’s South Atlantic division is set as the primary sponsor of JAGA’s Scholarship Trust Classic, aimed at raising funds for financial aid for local college students.
Additionally, Circle K will also be taking the spotlight as the presenting sponsor for the Celebration of Golf Banquet, held on February 21, 2024 at the Timuquana Country Club. JAGA has also decided to increase the annual financial assistance to scholarship winners from $2,000 to $2,500.
Family Fun and Golf
The upcoming JAGA Family Championship is still accepting new entries, happening on December 16 at the Jacksonville Beach Golf Club.
The tournament welcomes any combination of family members for the two-player scramble event, featuring gross and net divisions with two-tee starts at 7:30 and 11:30 a.m. For entry information, visit jaxareagolf.org, under “tournaments.”
Chloe Schiavone’s Future
Renowned high school golfer, Chloe Schiavone, is set to transfer to the University of Virginia to compete for their 2024-25 golf team upon graduation from Notre Dame. Recently finishing third in the St. Andrews Intercollegiate Tournament, she’s also qualified for the U.S. Women’s Amateur Four-Ball. The tournament will take place at the Oak Hills Country Club in San Antonio, Texas from May 11-15.

Key upcoming events include the 33rd Underwood Cup Matches at the Timuquana Country Club, scheduled for February 5-6. Additionally, the First Coast Women’s Amateur will take place from July 22-24 at the Plantation at Ponte Vedra Beach. Volunteer opportunities are available for the PGA Tour Q-School, to be held on December 11-17 at the TPC Sawgrass Dye’s Valley and the Sawgrass Country Club.
