New York — The Las Vegas Aces are just one win away from claiming back-to-back WNBA titles, thanks in large part to their three-player threat of Jackie Young, Kelsey Plum, and A’ja Wilson. However, the team has been dealt a blow with the injuries to Chelsea Gray and Kiah Stokes. Gray, who suffered a foot injury in Sunday’s game, has been ruled out for Game 4, and it is unlikely she will play in Game 5 if necessary. Stokes, who also has a foot injury, has been ruled out for Game 4 and is awaiting MRI results to determine her status moving forward. While the Aces still have a chance to win with their remaining players, they will have to overcome the historical odds, as no WNBA team has ever come back to win the title after trailing 2-0 in the Finals. Despite the challenges ahead, the Aces remain focused and determined to succeed with their “next woman up” mentality.
