Following a tough game against the Texans last week, cornerback Carlton Davis is focused on recovering from a toe injury. However, he and fellow Bucs starting cornerback Jamel Dean are uncertain for Sunday’s game against the Titans at Raymond James Stadium.
Dean is currently under concussion protocol and has yet to receive clearance from an independent neurologist, although he participated in full on Friday. On the other hand, Davis was limited in practice and will be a game-time decision according to head coach Todd Bowles.
The Bucs have second-year cornerback Zyon McCollum prepared to step up if either Dean or Davis are unable to play. However, if both are sidelined, Bowles mentioned the possibility of elevating rookie Keenan Isaac or Derrek Pitts from the practice squad.
The only Bucs player ruled out for Sunday’s game is linebacker Josh Hayes, who is dealing with a concussion. Guard Matt Feiler, who missed the past two games due to a knee injury, is listed as doubtful.
Tackle Luke Goedeke and nosetackle Vita Vea took part in full practice on Friday, despite Goedeke dealing with a foot injury and Vea with a groin issue.
