The New York Liberty dominated the Las Vegas Aces in a crucial game, keeping their hopes alive in the WNBA Finals and forcing a Game 4. The Aces, who are aiming for consecutive WNBA titles, are just one win away from achieving their goal. In addition to the thrilling match, the WNBA unveiled the first and second All-WNBA teams for 2023.
The All-WNBA teams were selected through a vote conducted at the end of the regular season, without any consideration for player position. It was no surprise that Breanna Stewart, the 2023 WNBA MVP from the Liberty, Alyssa Thomas from the Connecticut Sun, and A’ja Wilson from the Aces were unanimous choices for the All-WNBA first team.
Joining them on the first team are Napheesa Collier from the Minnesota Lynx and Satou Sabally from the Dallas Wings. While this marks Collier’s second All-WNBA team selection, it is her first appearance on the first team. Sabally, on the other hand, celebrates her first selection to the All-WNBA team.
