Completing two classes, now onto the final one.
The 3A State Golf Tournament held at Mission Inn Resort & Club in Howey-in-the-Hills featured Pace as the only area team competing together.
2A High School Golf: Three area golfers claim top-25 finishes at state tournament
Pace finished 16th out of 16 teams with a two-round score of 661, posting 334 in the first round and 327 on Saturday.
Braden Duvall led Pace with a two-round score of 159 (80, 79), tying with Nease’s Cooper Diaz and Vier’a Shayaan Kim for 51st overall.
Also representing the Patriots were Judah Talley (163-85, 78) at 66th, Easton Viator (163-85, 78) at 74th, Troyce Perkins (173-89, 84) at 90th, and Ian Jackson (176-90, 86) at 92nd.
Competing individually, Tate’s Baylor Touchstone claimed 81st place with a score of 169 (78, 91).
With Classes 2A and 3A completed, only 1A remains, scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday.
