Consequently, the Wolverines will face the Texas Tech Red Raiders, providing a notable contrast from a match against a Northern Iowa team ranking much lower in Kenpom. The game poses a tougher challenge but holds greater potential benefits and less risk for the team’s resume.

Though five years have passed since their unfortunate Sweet 16 loss, both teams’ rosters have changed, highlighting Texas Tech’s strong defense. However, Michigan has an opportunity to end the Battle 4 Atlantis with a respectable 2-1 record, given Texas Tech’s offensive vulnerabilities.
