Sports bettor Marco Piemonte secured a payout worth $1,578,783.10 on Monday after the Philadelphia Eagles bested the Kansas City Chiefs.

‘Million Dollar Marco’ lived up to his nickname after acing a 13-leg parlay off a $40,000 bet.

The winning parlay consisted of four NBA bets, two college football games, and seven NFL games. Most of the wagers consisted of alternate spreads.

Piemonte picked mostly favorites as the parlay totaled at +3946 odds.

In the end, Piemonte hedged the final item on his parlay with the Eagles-Chiefs game. Piemonte wagered $500,000 on the Chiefs -2, hoping for Kansas City to win by a field goal but not by more than ten points.

Piemonte’s giant 13-leg parlay spanned across Friday’s NBA games to Monday Night Football

Piemonte’s attempt to ‘middle’ the bet resulted in his actual profit going down to $1,078,038.10 – but still living up to his moniker.

The parlay that spanned across a few days nearly got derailed within the first leg as Piemonte picked the Los Angeles Clippers over the Houston Rockets on Friday.

Houston had the lead with less than three minutes remaining and looked to put the game to bed. Fortunately, the Rockets missed consecutive shots in clutch time, allowing the Clippers to rally and steal the win.

This is not the first time Piemonte earned a seven-figure payday with his bets.

Last year, Piemonte won $2,880,263.52 after betting $31,000 on a five-game NFL parlay.

Piemonte won eight wagers worth more than $1m in 2022 while working as a car dealer in Chicago.
