Exciting news from the Bemidji State women’s golf team as they announce the addition of two talented players to their 2024 signing class. Lauren Kammann from Elk River and Bailey Tilley from Savage have officially signed on to join the Beavers for the 2024-25 season, further bolstering the team’s roster. With these recent signings, the total number of Bemidji State women’s golf signees for the upcoming season has now reached three.
Multi-sport athlete Trista Bilden has also committed to joining the BSU women’s golf team, in addition to the Beavers’ track and field squad, adding even more depth and versatility to the team.
Lauren Kammann brings a wealth of experience to the team, having collected four letters in golf during her varsity career and excelling in other sports such as swimming and hockey. Her sister, Haylee Kammann, is a current freshman on the Bemidji State women’s golf roster, making the connection to BSU even more special. Lauren’s impressive performance at the MSHSL girls golf state tournament demonstrates her skill and potential on the course.
Head coach Erica Gartner expressed her excitement about Lauren’s arrival, stating, “It’s a joy to be able to welcome Lauren into the Beaver Golf family. Her ties to BSU run deep, and I’m the most thankful she was able to see herself here as well. She’s a true competitor on the course, and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to see her succeed here at this level, both on the course and off.”
Bailey Tilley, a standout golfer and two-year captain at Burnsville High School, brings a strong work ethic and a fun skill set to the team. Her accomplishments in golf, alongside her success in hockey as a forward on Burnsville’s 2022 MSHSL Class AA consolation championship team, highlight her abilities both on and off the course. Coach Gartner looks forward to seeing Bailey transition to the college game and make an impact at BSU from the start.
