Connor Bedard has quickly proven himself as a formidable force on the ice. Bedard’s rise to prominence comes as no surprise. Last season, he dominated the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Regina team, accumulating an impressive 140 points and setting a 35-game point streak record. His exceptional performance garnered attention from NHL scouts and solidified his position as the top prospect in the 2023 NHL Draft.

Central Scouting was unwavering in their assessment of Bedard’s talent. From the beginning to the end of last season, he held the coveted No. 1 ranking. The bureau had accurate insights into his abilities, based on reports from his time in the WHL.
