The upcoming ATP Finals will feature top seed Novak Djokovic against home favorite Jannik Sinner, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and Holger Rune in the group stages. Djokovic, aiming for his record seventh title, will also face other top players in Turin next week.
Meanwhile, second seed Carlos Alcaraz will go up against Daniil Medvedev, Andrey Rublev, and Alexander Zverev in the other group. After the round-robin stage, the top two players on each side will advance to the semi-finals.
Djokovic seeks to surpass Roger Federer’s six titles and clinch the year-end World No 1 ranking with a successful defense of his ATP Finals title. The Serbian has not lost since the Wimbledon final in July and enters the tournament with a 17-match win streak, after winning the Paris Masters last week.
Italian Sinner, a debutant at the Turin Finals, will have the support of the home crowd, joining 2019 Finals champion Tsitsipas and eighth seed Rune in the Green Group.
Alcaraz, making his tournament debut after missing out last season due to injury, will compete against former ATP Finals champions Medvedev and Zverev, along with fifth seed Rublev in the Red Group.
The ATP Finals commence in Turin on Monday, November 13, with the final set to take place on Sunday, November 19.
