Alabama vs. Tennessee injury report: Latest on Malachi Moore, CJ Dippre and more

According to reports, the availability of Malachi Moore for Alabama football’s game against Tennessee on Saturday is uncertain. However, Moore was seen on the field during pregame warmups at Bryant-Denny Stadium. He had suffered an ankle injury in the Texas A&M game and did not play in the last week’s game against Arkansas.

Tight end CJ Dippre, who was also injured against Arkansas, was present on the field catching passes. Earlier, head coach Nick Saban expressed optimism about the status of both players.

Saban stated, “I think if they continue to progress like they have, they have a good chance to play. But nobody can predict that right now.”

There is also uncertainty surrounding offensive guard Terrence Ferguson II’s availability for the game. He was present in uniform during warmups.

Saban seemed less certain about Ferguson’s status for the Tennessee game.

Ferguson has been in uniform but has not played a game since the SEC opener against Ole Miss.

Saban stated, “He’s doing better. He’s practicing every week. I think he’s getting better every week. I think he’s closer to 100% this week than he has been. Those high ankle sprains are not easy to get over. It takes a little while to develop the ability to push off and have explosive power, which is hard to play on the offensive line without. He has worked hard to get where he is… I think he’s getting pretty close to where we need him to be.”

Linebacker Trezmen Marshall, who suffered a rib injury against Arkansas, showed positive signs earlier in the week. He was present in uniform during pregame warmups but did not fully participate in drills.

Marshall said, “I’m feeling great. Just getting treatment, trying to heal up and get ready for this big game.”

The game between Alabama and Tennessee is scheduled to kick off at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday in Tuscaloosa and will be aired on CBS.
