The Chicago Blackhawks have made some roster moves, assigning defensemen Wyatt Kaiser and Isaak Phillips to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League, while also recalling defenseman Louis Crevier and activating defenseman Jarred Tinordi from injured reserve.
Wyatt Kaiser, 21, has been a key player for the Blackhawks this season, with four assists and an average of 16:34 of ice time. However, the team has decided to send him to Rockford to reset after a recent difficult stretch.
Isaak Phillips, 22, stepped up in the absence of Jarred Tinordi, registering three assists in eight games while playing alongside Kaiser on the third pairings. As a result, the Blackhawks are promoting Louis Crevier to take their place in Rockford. Crevier, at 6-foot-8, has been impressive for the IceHogs, ranking second among all blue liners with five assists in 16 games this season.
