Carlos Alcaraz finds motivation and joy in the support of Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer’s fans when facing Novak Djokovic.
The rising tennis star appreciates being compared to the ‘Big Three’ but is determined to maintain his unique identity as “100% Carlos Alcaraz.”
Having drawn praise from Djokovic for his recent performance at Wimbledon, Alcaraz is being recognized for his adaptability and completeness as a player.
Following his successful showcase against world No 13 Tommy Paul, Alcaraz expressed his individuality and ambitions for his career in a recent press conference in Mexico.
“Although being compared to tennis legends is flattering, I want to be recognized as myself rather than an imitation of any player,” stated the young star.
Reflecting on his achievements so far and addressing future aspirations, Alcaraz also spoke about his rivalry with Djokovic and the positive influence he has received from fans of the Serbian’s rivals, particularly Nadal and Federer.
