On Thursday, November 9th, the atmosphere in New York City was positively electric as the prestigious DOC NYC Festival kicked off its vibrant and celebratory evening. This film had already gained significant recognition earlier in the year, having been screened over two dozen times across the United States and receiving the 2022 National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter 65th EMMY AWARD in the SPORTS STORY – LONG FORM CONTENT category.

Presented as an Official Selection at this year’s DOC NYC Festival, the documentary made its grand debut at the iconic Village East Theater at the corner of Second Avenue and 12th Street. Following the premiere, the star of the documentary, Rajah Caruth, along with his family, friends, and select guests, were invited to The Penthouse at Royalton Park Avenue Hotel for a celebratory gathering.

The film, “Outside Line,” captures the increasing trend of real-world racing talent being discovered on simulation racing platforms, with iRacing leading the charge.
