Signature spots, ’24 Tour cards earned and lost at fall finale

St. Simons Island, Georgia was the setting for intense competition during the reimagined fall portion of the PGA Tour schedule. The RSM Classic came to an awe-inspiring close as players strived for their 2024 status.

Ludvig Åberg magnificently clinched victory, shattering the event’s scoring record and rocketing from 96th to 53rd on the fall points list. With this commanding triumph, the Swede earned a spot in the prestigious Next 10 category, securing exemptions into the first two signature events of 2024. Alex Smalley, who was 57th on the fall list, fell to No. 61 after finishing tied for 44th at Sea Island Resort.

Notably, Ryan Moore clinched a second consecutive top-10 finish, jumping 10 spots to secure full status next season, while Carl Yuan unfortunately dropped from No. 125 to 126th with his tie for 68th.

The top 150 bubble saw lots of movement, with Kelly Kraft and Vince Whaley playing their way into the top 150 and securing status on the DP World Tour, while Paul Haley II and Webb Simpson missed the cut at the RSM Classic and fell outside the top 150 on the final points list.
