The Benjamin School, located in Palm Beach Gardens, fielded a total of five golfers in the tournament, including 14-year-old Charlie Woods, who finished tied-26th overall.

Despite their individual accomplishments, The Benjamin School has a rich history of success, winning its fourth state title at the championship.

Sophomore Jake Valentine had a stellar performance at the tournament, contributing a crucial birdie on the 17th hole and a decisive putt on the final hole to secure the title for The Benjamin School with his 72-76 score.

Among the spectators was Tiger Woods, who celebrated a viral moment captured on video, showing his son holing out a chip with a typical Woods fist pump and reaction.

While Tiger Woods did not secure a high school state title during his time at Western High School in Anaheim, California, it’s important to note that state golf championships were not established at that time. However, there’s no denying that Charlie Woods has a lot to live up to, given Tiger’s own illustrious golfing career.

Speaking of his son’s passion for the sport, Tiger Woods admitted that Charlie has already started to out-drive him when they play together.
