Manchester High School girls soccer team eliminated in OHSAA state semifinal

SHELBY — The Manchester High School girls soccer team concluded another successful season as an OHSAA Division III state semifinalist. The Ottawa-Glandorf team clinched a ticket to the state final by defeating Manchester 5-1 at Shelby High School for the second year in a row. This marked the second consecutive year that Ottawa-Glandorf ended Manchester’s journey in the tournament, finishing as Division III state runner-up to Cincinnati Country Day in the previous year.

Junior Makenna Siefker’s three goals led the Titans to victory, with the final score of 22-1 against the Panthers. Siefker scored one goal in the first half and two in the second, with Senior Bri Douglass assisting on the first goal. Sophomore Delaney Duling scored Ottawa-Glandorf’s second goal in the first half.
