The Panthers demonstrated their shooting prowess by making 11 out of 31 attempts from beyond the arc, with Taylor, a transfer from Wake Forest, sinking four treys.

Georgia State’s defense was relentless, causing 23 turnovers for Morehouse and converting them into 34 points in transition.

With a narrow 23-20 lead, Georgia State embarked on a 6-0 scoring run with 6:28 remaining in the first half, extending their advantage to 29-20.
