The Ohio High School Athletic Association state girls tennis tournament is scheduled for Thursday and Friday at the College of Wooster.
Ten players from Cincinnati, including four singles players and six duos, will participate in the tournament. Below are the details of the state qualifiers.

Division I singles
Sarah Clark, a senior from Turpin High School, emerged victorious in the district championship by defeating Clara Owen from Centerville High School. Clark, a committed player to Coastal Carolina, showcased an excellent performance, only losing 10 games in the previous matches. This will be Clark’s third appearance in the state singles tournament.
Owen, a Xavier commit, has previously won two state doubles titles for Centerville and is now participating in her first singles postseason.
Addison Cassidy, a sophomore from Mason High School, secured the third position in the district tournament after defeating Natalie Schoenherr from Butler. Cassidy had an impressive run last year in Division II as she finished as the state doubles runner-up while representing Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy.

Division I doubles
The duo of Emma Wagner, a sophomore, and Pratyusha Chaudhuri, a junior, from Mason High School defeated their teammates Saanvi Reddy (freshman) and Ana Gotike (sophomore) to win the district final. Additionally, the Walnut Hills sister duo, Irisa Poompanit (sophomore) and Perasa Poompanit (freshman), finished third and also advanced to the state tournament. This will mark the second consecutive appearance at the state tournament for Irisa.
