Green demonstrated his skills by scoring the most points (16) for Xavier Blue, including four 3-pointers, in their 74-60 victory over Xavier White. He also recorded a game-high nine assists. These performances showcased why Green is a top freshman candidate for the Musketeers, who have a roster filled with 10 new players.
Green played a crucial role in Xavier Blue’s 21-7 run at the end of the first half, giving them a comfortable 42-26 lead going into halftime, despite both teams experiencing a slow start offensively.

As anticipated, Xavier’s backcourt players stood out during the scrimmage. The Musketeers’ guards are expected to be the team’s leading strength this season.
Desmond Claude, projected to be one of the top players in the Big East, scored 15 points on efficient shooting (5-of-10) and made all four of his free throw attempts for Xavier Blue.
